Sowohl die architektonische Gestaltung des Schulgebäudes als auch die Einrichtung und Gestaltung des einzelnen Unterrichtsraumes haben unmittelbaren Einfluss auf das Leben und Lernen in der Schule. Aus diesem Grund sollte im Rahmen von Schulentwicklungsprozessen immer auch die Ebene der Schularchitektur mitberücksichtig werden. Zum besseren Verständnis der mit einer solchen Form von Schulentwicklung einhergehenden Chancen und Schwierigkeiten werden wir uns im Seminar zunächst mit aktuellen Entwicklungen im Bereich der Schularchitektur auseinandersetzen und uns danach – unter anderem im Rahmen von Exkursionen – konkrete Beispiele „pädagogischer“ Schulbauten in Bielefeld und Umgebung ansehen.
