Ingeborg Bachmann (1926 – 1973) zählt zu den bekanntesten Schriftsteller*innen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Insbesondere ihre Lyrik und Prosa werden noch immer intensiv rezipiert.
Doch Ingeborg Bachmann beschäftige sich u.a. mit einer weiteren besonderen Kunstform: dem Hörspiel. In diesem Seminar wollen wir zwei davon näher in den Blick nehmen: Ein Geschäft mit Träumen (1952) und Der gute Gott von Manhattan (1957).
Bachmanns Hörspiele in den 1950er Jahren tragen maßgeblich dazu bei, das Hörspiel als eigene Kunstform zu betrachten und nicht lediglich als ergänzende Vertonung eines Buches. Diese Perspektive wollen wir uns im Seminar zu eigen machen und uns fragen: Welche Charakteristika und Besonderheiten haben die Hörspiele? Welche Deutungsperspektiven eröffnet das Akustische als Medium? In welchem Verhältnis stehen Textfassung und Hörspiel? Wie ist die Ästhetik der Bachmann'schen Hörspiele geprägt?
