Contents, comment

In this course you will practise the construction of a bit more complex search strings in PubMed and gain insight into the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) thesaurus.

Primary target group: Students who will soon be writing a thesis and who would like to use MeSH terms and more complex search strings for their literature searches in PubMed. Researchers are also welcome to attend.

Recommended prior knowledge: You are familiar with the basic functions of PubMed and you know how to use the Boolean Operators AND and OR. If you have no prior knowledge about PubMed and Boolean Operators we recommend that you attend “An Introduction to PubMed” prior to this training.

Up to 30 people can register for this training. If you would like to take part in the training on site in the library training room (UHG T1-224) please send a short email to philipp.dillschneider@uni-bielefeld.de. If you would like to participate via Zoom please register via the link provided.
In both cases, please register by 11.06.2024. Thank you very much. In exceptional cases, registration at short notice is also possible.
