Das Kolloquium richtet sich an B.A.-Studierende der Bereiche Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung sowie der Mediensoziologie, die aktuell an ihrer Abschlussarbeit arbeiten. In der Veranstaltung werden methodische Probleme und praktische Herausforderungen der Erstellung einer wissenschaftlichen Abschlussarbeit begleitend diskutiert. Dazu können gehören die Präzisierung der Forschungsfrage, Wahl und Entwicklung von Begriffen und Theorien, Operationalisierung von Fragestellung und Begriffen sowie die Wahl von Methoden und Daten.
Im Vordergrund stehen Präsentation und Diskussion von Abschlussarbeiten der Teilnehmer. Spezifika des Verfassens wissenschaftlicher Abschlussarbeiten sowie methodische und methodologische Fragestellungen werden nach Bedarf allgemein erörtert.
