Im UaKD erfolgt die Vorstellung und Erläuterung der Grundlagen der intensivmedizinischen Therapiemaßnahmen in Unabhängigkeit von der zugrundeliegenden Erkrankung anhand des \"FAST HUGS BID\" Akronyms. Gemeinsam mit der körperlichen Untersuchung sowie der Evaluation der Respiration bzw. Beatmung und der Hämodynamik bildet diese die Grundlage der täglichen Visiten.
