In seinem neuen Buch "Normativität. Eine ontologische Studie" (Berlin 2008) entwickelt Peter Stemmer den vertragstheoretischen Ansatz zur Moral weiter, den er zuerst in "Handeln zugunsten anderer" (Berlin 2000) formuliert hat. Unter den zeitgenössischen metaethischen Positionen im deutschsprachigen Raum ist Stemmers Theorie eine der am weitesten entwickelten und meist diskutierten. Das Buch entfaltet systematisch und auf gut verständliche Weise eine Konzeption der Normativität der Moral auf naturalistischer Basis. In je einem Kapitel erklärt Stemmer die Begriffe des moralischen Müssens, der Rationalität, von Gründen, Sanktionen, Konventionen und Pflichten.
Das Buch (19,90 Euro) wird zur Anschaffung empfohlen.
