Das Grundpraktikum in "Genetik" soll die experimentellen Techniken auf dem Bakterien- und Phagengebiet vermitteln. Voraussetzung hierfür sind mikrobiologische Grundkenntnisse, wie sie in den ersten vier Praktikumstagen ("Mikrobiologie") eingeübt werden. Als genetische Grundversuche werden neben der Mutagenese die genetischen Austauschprozesse Konjugation, Transduktion und Transformation gezeigt. Außerdem ist geplant, einen Versuch zur Regulation der Genexpression durchzuführen. Dieses Praktikum ist Voraussetzung für die im Hauptstudium angebotenen genetischen Blockpraktika. Kriterien für eine erfolgreiche Teilnahme sind regelmäßige Teilnahme, Protokoll und ein schriftlicher Test. [Lf: n; 50: n; Fs: n
