391016 Glykobiotechnologie/Glykoproteine (V+S) (SoSe 2013)

Die Vorlesung Glykoproteine und Glykoanalytik, als Teil des Moduls Glykobiotechnologie, behandelt einerseits die Bedeutung von Glykostrukturen an Proteinen für deren Einfluss und Wirksamkeit an ausgewählten Beispielen. Weiterhin wird der molekulare Aufbau und die Biosynthese der Glykostrukturen im Organismus besprochen.
Andererseits werden im Detail die Methoden zur Analyse der Glykosilierung behandelt, wobei auch fortgeschrittene, moderne Analysentechniken wie Massenspektrometrie, Kernresonanzspektroskopie, usw. erläutert werden.
