Die rasante Entwicklung und Diversifizierung geschlechtlicher Existenzweisen innerhalb der letzten 20 Jahre hat auch vor den literarischen Texten nicht Halt gemacht. 'Geschlecht schreiben'/'über Geschlecht schreiben' hat in heutigen Debatten einen festen Platz eingenommen und gehört zum unbestrittenen Kanon der Themen, die gegenwartsliterarische Diskurse bestimmen. Dabei sind die Darstellungsweisen ebenso vielfältig wie Geschlecht selbst und vielmehr als nach einer festen oder kohärenten Identität suchen Autor:innen nach Möglichkeiten, Unsicherheiten - 'Fluiditäten' - sprachlich zu fassen. Im Seminar gehen wir diesen verschiedenen Darstellungsweisen von Geschlecht anhand von aktuellen Texten (ca. seit 2000) nach. Die Offenheit und Aktualität des Themas erfordert eine hohe Bereitschaft, sich eigenständig und kreativ mit Literatur auseinanderzusetzen und diese in der Seminardiskussion gemeinsam zu erforschen.
