Ziel:
Es wird ein Überblick über die bewährten Methoden der Medienforschung und ihren Bezug zur Sozial- und Gesundheitsforschung gegeben. Die Studierenden sollen nach dieser Veranstaltung:
- einen Überblick über Einsatzmöglichkeiten und Grenzen der wichtigsten Methoden haben,
- in der Lage sein, problem- und situationsspezifisch geeignete Methoden auszuwählen und anzuwenden.
Inhalt:
Allgemeine Medienforschung
- Was ist Medienforschung?
- Wie entwickelt man Hypothesen?
- Wie werden Erhebungsinstrumente konstruiert?
- Wie werden Erhebungen durchgeführt?
- Wie werden Forschungsdesigns entwickelt?
- Wie werden Forschungsberichte geschrieben?
Spezifische Forschungsgebiete
- Mediennutzungs- und Medienwirkungsforschung
- Medienökonomie
- Medienpolitik
- Die Rolle der Medienforschung in der Gesundheitspolitik
