Dear all,
You are warmly invited to a screening of the National Theatre production of The Importance of Being Earnest on 12 March at 8:00 PM in room V2-121.
Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy follows two young men who invent false identities to escape social obligations and pursue romance, leading to a series of witty misunderstandings and sharp satire on Victorian society. Ncuti Gatwa (Dr Who; Sex Education) plays Algernon; Stephen Fry plays Lady Bracknell. (Yes, it's rather a queer version of a, uhm, already queer play.) Take a peek:
Please try to arrive a little earlier so we can begin on time. Feel free to bring friends — and don’t forget to bring your own snacks.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Best regards,
The Theatre Buffs on U3
