Die Kenntnisnahme und adäquate Interpretation empirischer Studien der quantitativen Forschung muss in Zukunft zum Handlungsrepertoire professioneller Pädagogen gehören. Um dies zu ermöglichen, beinhaltet zunächst eine – an das Bachelorstudium anknüpfende – Auseinandersetzung mit den Prinzipien empirischer Sozialforschung. Daran anknüpfend sollen die Studierenden mit Kenntnissen und Strategien vertraut gemacht werden, die sie im späteren beruflichen Alltag befähigen, sich selbständig neue Erkenntnisse der quantitativen Forschung anzueignen und deren praktischen Konsequenzen für die eigene Tätigkeit zu erkennen.
