Das Seminar bietet die Möglichkeit, einen Einblick in die historische Entwicklung, die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen, die theoretischen Diskurse und in ausgewählte Praxisfelder (Kita, Jugendarbeit, Hilfen zur Erziehung) zu gewinnen.
Methodisch ist ein Kombination aus Vorträgen und Kleingruppenarbeiten vorgesehen. Die Einladung von PraxisvertreterInnen zur Vorstellung ihrer jeweiligen Arbeitsbereiche ist darüber hinaus geplant.

Allgemeine Anforderungen: Aktive Mitgestaltung der Seminarsitzungen durch die Beteiligung an Seminardiskussionen, Interesse an der Auseinandersetzung mit theoretischen Texten.
Kriterien für Studienleistungen: mündliche Präsentation von Kleingruppen-/Einzelarbeitsergebnissen im Seminar und eine kurze Verschriftlichung
