Gegenstand des Seminars sind die Film-, Fernseh- und Videoarbeiten Samuel Becketts.
An diesen sollen der Bezug zu Becketts literarischem Werk sowie deren filmpoetischen Spezifika untersucht werden. Darüber hinaus sollen am Beispiel dieser Arbeiten Grundfragen der Medien- und Kulturtheorie formuliert und erprobt werden.Es wird empfohlen, sich vor Beginn des Seminars mit Becketts Filmen auf http://www.ubuweb.com/ vertraut zu machen.
