Dieser Kurs wird von einer gehörlosen Dozentin durchgeführt und richtet sich an Hörende, die Deutsche Gebärdensprache (DGS) kennenlernen bzw. erlernen möchten. Die DGS ist die Sprache der Gehörlosen und stellt eine eigenständige Sprache mit einem eigenen System dar, das völlig unabhängig von der Grammatik der Lautsprache und ausschließlich auf visuelle Wahrnehmung ausgelegt ist. Bei dieser laut(sprach)losen "Sprache der Hände für die Augen" spielen Mimik, Körperausdruck sowie das Fingeralphabet eine wichtige Rolle. In diesem Einführungskurs gewinnen die Teilnehmer Verständnis für die Kultur der Gehörlosen und erwerben Grundkenntnisse in der Kommunikation mit DGS.

Interesse an der Sprache und der Kultur, sowie die Bereitschaft DGS einschließlich der dazugehörigen Gestik und Mimik auszuprobieren.
