Contents, comment

The seminar will provide background to various forms of cultural production in South Africa, as well as provide background on culture and society both in the apartheid era and in the post-apartheid phase. Against this background, we will examine
representations of the country in the South African media and in cultural production in the post-apartheid era.

Requirements for participation, required level

The subject-specific regulations (FSB) and module manuals (Modulhandbuch) contain information as to whether performances (only applicable to Studies model 2011)/individual performances/(part) module examinations are expected and which requirements exist.
