In dieser Vorlesung werden die Grundlagen des Faches Ökonometrie diskutiert. Die Ökonometrie beschäftigt sich mit der empirischen Modellierung von ökonomischen Vorgängen mit Hilfe von mathematischen Modellen mittels statistischer Methoden.
Den Hauptteil der Vorlesung bildet eine tiefgehende Diskussion der Kleinstquadrateschätzung für lineare Modelle unter Beleuchtung aller dafür nötigen Annahmen sowie der dabei verwendeten Inferenz (im Sinne von statistischen Tests).
Die Vorlesung bildet die Grundlage für die weiterführenden Lehrveranstaltungen des Ökonometrie sowie vielen Veranstaltungen der Arbeitsgruppen Statistik und Data Science.

Die Vorlesung folgt eng dem Buch J. Wooldridge: Introductory Econometrics, Cengage Learning.
Das Buch ist in verschiedenen Auflagen erhältlich, auch gut Online. Die Ausgaben unterscheiden sich nur unwesentlich.
