301152 Quantifizierung und Bewertung: Hochschulen und Krankenhäuser (S) (WiSe 2022/2023)

In den letzten 30 Jahren war die Öffentliche Verwaltung, private Firmen und Individuen gleichermaßen einer (Selbst)Evaluierungs- und Transparenzwelle ausgesetzt, die nicht unwesentlich auf Quantifizierung von Leistungen, Merkmalen oder Erwartungen gründete. Die Soziologie bietet einige Erklärungsansätze (‚Critical accounting’, kommunikationstheoretische Ansätze, Neo-Institutionalismus) von Funktion und Folgen der Quantifizierung an, die in diesem Seminar vorgestellt, eingeordnet und gegeneinander abgewogen werden. Als empirische he Beispiele werden Krankenhäuser und Universitäten näher untersucht.
