Im Kolloquium Geschichte und Öffentlichkeit stellen auswärtige Gäste ihre in der Regel außeruniversitären Arbeitszusammenhänge vor. Es werden regelmäßig Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter aus Museen, Gedenkstätten, Archiven, Stiftungen, Medien etc., aber auch aus Schule und Erwachsenenbildung eingeladen.
