230602 Genres, Authors, Periods (S) (SoSe 2020)

Contents, comment

Please note: The class will be taught as an online-course in this semester!

The British Studies Basisseminar BM 2.3 "Genres, Authors, Periods" provides an overview of the main genres of (British) literature and their analysis. The focus will lie on reading a variety of selected texts closely with the help of the tools you learn in the two AILT lectures. The Studienleistung will be an essay.

You should have done at least one of the two AILT lectures before you do the GAP course (which you can do in the same semester as the second AILT lecture).
You have to do both AILT lectures (Brit and Am), but you can combine these with a GAP (British) or a GAP (US); the choice is yours.
