Im Fokus der Veranstaltung liegen die Themenfelder Digitalisierung und soziale Ungleichheiten. Ziel des Blockseminars ist es, das Verhältnis sozialer, gesundheitlicher und digitaler Ungleichheit in der Gesellschaft interdisziplinär zu bearbeiten. Hierzu werden inhaltliche Impulse aus verschiedenen Wissenschaftsdisziplinen (z. B. Ethik, Pädagogik, Soziologie) und Praxisfeldern von Public Health (z. B. Projekte zur Förderung digitaler Teilhabe) vermittelt. Die Studierenden wählen dabei eine Teilfragestellung aus und reflektieren diese im Rahmen eines angeleiteten Diskureses mit abschließendem Referat. Darüber hinaus werden Kompetenzen in der Erarbeitung spezifischer Textprodukte in der Wissenschaft (z. B. Discussion Papers) in Vorbereitung der Prüfungsleistung gefördert.

Das Seminar richtet sich an Studierende des Masters of Public Health, darüber hinaus sind jedoch keine spezifischen Vorkenntnisse notwendig
