Aufbauend auf dem Kurs „Funktionelle Neuroanatomie der Sprache I“ werden Detailaspekte der funktionellen Neuroanatomie sprachrelevanter Strukturen behandelt. Hier stehen vor allem mikroanatomische Besonderheiten sprachrelevanter Regionen im Vordergrund. Anschließend werden in Anlehnung an die jahrhundertelange Diskussion über lokalisationistische und holistische Denkweisen aktuelle neuroanatomisch basierte Sprachmodelle vorgestellt und diskutiert. Weiterhin werden neuroanatomische Besonderheiten aphasischer Sprachstörungen vorgestellt und deren Symptomatik anhand aktueller Studien erarbeitet.
