In diesem Seminar wollen wir an einigen Punkten der Musikgeschichte anhand von Filmen „vor Anker gehen“. Wir schauen Dokumentationen und Spielfilme von und über Musiker. Die Spanne reicht von Sainte-Colombe bis Cage. Wir ergänzen und vertiefen die gewonnenen Eindrücke mit Material aus Musikgeschichte und Musiktheorie und, wo immer möglich, auch praktischen Übungen.
