317002 Discussiongroup on Economic Modelling (S) (SoSe 2013)

this seminar course is intended for phd students and masters students who intend to do a phd later

it is about "how to come up with a good model to tackle an economic question"

Literaturangaben

the format will probably be as follows

every two weeks we pose a new economic question
students will then work in groups to come up with a model, which we will discuss in the following week
after a hopefully constructive discussion students will then try to improve their model, which will then be discussed one more time
after that the next topic will be tackled
