312809 Seminar (Master) (S) (WiSe 2010/2011)

The seminar addresses to Master Students of Economics and Business Studies.

Registering is required. Please do so by signing in at Mrs. Windhorsts in V8-107 from July 13th -14th 2010 at 10-12 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3p.m. Please remember to turn in your BA certificate (or comparable document) for signing in.
A list of participants will be posted on the bill-board no later than July, 19th 2010. For all participants a first meeting will be held on Mon. August 2nd 2010 10:30-11:30 o’ clock in V8-119. The further proceeding and information on the themes will be discussed. If you cannot attend, please inform the instructors in advance.

Meetings:
Concerning the meetings of the seminar it will be blocked during the semester. The dates for the presentation and the deadline for turning in the paper will be announced at the first meeting.

Structure:
There are two parts of the course:

First, a term paper of 15-20 pages has to be turned in, a precise deadline will be announced in due time. For preparing this please regard to the general principles of academic writing. If you are unsure about this please do not hesitate to contact the course instructors. In addition, please turn in 2 copies of your work at least 1 week ahead of the presentation.

Further, a presentation of your term paper is to be held. It is supposed to last about 30 minutes. Afterwards in a small talk this topic will be discussed with the audience.
