"Gut" bedeutet etwas anderes als "schlecht", "Liebe" etwas anderes als "Hass" und "aufregend" ist anders als "langweilig", so viel ist klar. Aber sehen das alle Menschen gleich? Bereits in den 1950er Jahren haben Studien gezeigt, dass die Verarbeitung von Wortbedeutung auch erheblich von emotionalen Aspekten abhängt. In dieser Veranstaltung wollen wir empirisch untersuchen, inwiefern individuelle Eigenschaften einen Einfluss darauf haben, wie Menschen die Emotionalität von Wörtern bewerten und in welchem Ausmaß sie emotionale Wörter im Vergleich zu anderen Kategorien produzieren. Wir werden dafür online Umfragen erstellen, verteilen und die Ergebnisse statistisch auswerten, um daraus individuelle Forschungsberichte sowie gemeinsame Posterpräsentationen zu erstellen.
