Die Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung ist ein Thema, das im Unterricht oft vernachlässigt wird, u.a. auch, weil Lehrkräfte selbst nur wenige Vorerfahrungen in diesem Bereich sammeln konnten. Im Rahmen dieses Seminar können Studierende geeignete Unterrichtsbeispiele kennenlernen, die über mehrere Jahrgangsstufen hinweg unter verschiedenen Schwerpunkten im Unterricht immer wieder aufgegriffen werden können. Darüber hinaus, sollen Aufgabenbeispiele im Rahmen des Schülerlabors „teutolab-mathematik“ selbst erprobt werden und die Lernprozesse der Schülerinnen und Schüler reflektiert.

Da das Schülerlabor jeden Mittwochmorgen von 8-12 Uhr öffnet, wird die Veranstaltung aus organisatorischen Gründen parallel zum teutolab angeboten. Das Seminar umfasst nur 2 SWS, so dass es nicht wöchentlich, sondern nach Vereinbarung an mehreren Vormittagen im Semester stattfindet. Die erste Veranstaltung steht bereits fest:
