Die Mitgliedschaft in informellen Gruppen und die sozialen Beziehungen zu Peers spielen für Jugendliche eine große Rolle. Im Zuge der Adoleszenz gestaltet sich Sozialisation immer auch über die Anbindung an Szenen, Jugend(sub)kulturen und sozialen Bewegungen. Ziel des Seminares ist es die Attraktivität und Funktion ausgewählter Jugendkulturen/-szenen herauszuarbeiten und kritisch zu reflektieren. Im Fokus steht dabei vor allem auch die Bedeutung sozialer Konstruktionen von Kategorien wie Geschlecht, Ethnizität, Klasse, Devianz, Risiko, etc.
Jugendkulturen/-szenen haben sich mit dem gesellschaftlichen Wandel verändert, ausdifferenziert, einige sind verschwunden, andere neu hinzugekommen. In diesem Zusammenhang stellt sich sodann auch die Frage, welchen Einfluss die Pandemie auf den Wandel von Jugendkulturen hat. Zudem entwickeln sich Jugendkulturen/-szenen in unterschiedlichen Kontexten: z.B. im sportlichen Kontext (Fangruppierungen, Parcours, Skateboard) oder auch dem musikalischen Kontext (HipHop, Metal, Techno), etc. Thematisiert werden sollen daher auch übergreifende Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der bearbeiteten Jugendkulturen/-szenen.Das Seminar findet online statt.
