Have you ever stopped to think about the rules of punctuation in English? Do you know what has to go into the introduction to your article or thesis proposal? Are you sure how to arrange your ideas effectively in sentences and paragraphs? If you do, you do not need this class. If you are, however, not quite sure about these and other matters, then this course is for you.
There will be ten units covering the basics of writing academic English. While questions and exercises will be provided in the course materials, the focus in the second part of this class will firmly be on members' own productions ¿ whether these are (parts of) their theses, articles or presentations/posters that they are preparing.
