230209 Lexis (S) (WiSe 2004/2005)

This is one of the courses in Basic Module Five and should be done only after you have done all three courses in BM One.

Class work will concentrate both on increasing students' word power, using Tania Kindersley's novel don't ask me why, and on analysing the Modern English vocabulary, based on A Survey of Modern English (see below for details of both books)

BA-students can earn three credit points for regular class work and passing the end-of-term test.
