Dass das Thema Geschichte in den DaF-Lehrwerken fest verankert ist, haben die Untersuchungsergebnisse von Minna Maijala (2004) schon gezeigt. In der Tat werden die Lehrpersonen im DaF-/DaZ-Unterricht oft aufgefordert, historische Inhalte in den Lehrbüchern didaktisch aufbereiten zu können. Diese Aufgabe wird noch schwerer, wenn hier keine Unterstützung wie Lehrerhandreichung vorhanden ist.
Das Seminar stellt sich die Aufgabe, Teilnehmende für solche zukünftige Aufforderungen vorbereit zu machen. Vor allem betrachten wir zusammen, welche historischen Themen in die aktuellen DaF-/DaZ-Lehrwerke aufgenommen und wie sie jeweils dargestellt werden.
