Im Seminar wird Literatur aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Klinischen Psychologie referiert und diskutiert. Lernziele sind dabei u.a.: Wissenschaftliche Artikel und empirische Studien zu einem bestimmten Thema besser verstehen, ihre theoretische und praktische Bedeutung angemessen beurteilen, Originalartikel und Studien verständlich dar-stellen.
Geplant ist u.a. die Behandlung neuerer Erkenntnisse und Beiträge zu folgenden Themen: Wenn die Unzufriedenheit mit dem eigenen Körper zur Störung wird - Kontrolliertes Trinken, ein sinnvolles Therapieziel? - Sexuelle Störungen - Süchte ohne Suchtmittel? (am Beispiel: Kaufsucht, pathologisches Spielen) - Frauenspezifische Risikofaktoren psychischer Störungen - Neuere Ansätze zur Rückfallprophylaxe am Beispiel Depression - Klinische Aspekte der Positiven Psychologie. Daneben können eigene Interessen der Teilnehmer/innen berücksichtigt werden. Auch auf Fragen eigener Literaturrecherchen wird eingegangen.
Zuordnung im Curriculum "Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie": Schwerpunkt II, Wahlpflicht, Seminar mit Forschungsschwerpunkt.
