Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit dem Strukturwandel der Wirtschaft in NRW ab 1945 und mit der Entwicklung der staatlichen Strukturpolitik. Bei den Trägern der Strukturpolitik werden die Landesregierung, die Bundesregierung, die EU (bzw. ihre Vorgänger) und die nichtstaatlichen Akteure (Wirtschaftsverbände, Gewerkschaften, Parteien) näher untersucht.
