As the gulf between the poor and rich of the world is widening, social inequalities have been perceived in many studies as determining the various experiences of childhood. Social inequality has direct and indirect effects on children‘s social, mental and physical well-being. This seminar will give an insight into the unequal distribution of rights and opportunities and their impact on children’s growing up process.
