Auch als Erwachsene sind wir Regeln und Gesetzen unterworfen. Wie ist diese Einschränkung unserer Freiheit zu rechtfertigen? "Nur durch die freiwillige Zustimmung der betroffenen Individuen", lautet die Antwort, die im Rahmen des Kontraktualismus gegeben wird. Im Seminar werden wir untersuchen, auf welche Weise sowohl die Legitimität politischer Herrschaft und politischer Gesetze als auch die Legitimität der Moral und moralischer Regeln mit Hilfe von Vertragstheorien begründet wird.
