Contents, comment

Die Vorlesung konzentriert sich auf die methodologischen Grundlagen und methodischen Prämissen verschiedener qualitativer Methoden. Sie setzt dabei die grundlegenden Kenntnisse der wichtigsten qualitativen Verfahren voraus (insbesondere Ethnographie, Interview und Konversationsanalyse).

Diskutiert werden vor diesem Hintergrund die neuesten Entwicklungen einzelner Methoden. Zum Beispiel: Wo ist das Feld in ethnographischen Studien? Wie verändert sich die Konversationsanalyse mit dem Einzug der Videoaufzeichnung? Wie analysiert man Akten und Dokumente? Diese Diskussionen und Probleme werden anhand neuer empirischer Studien aufgezeigt, die methodisch besonders interessant sind.

Weitere Sitzungen widmen sich aktuellen Debatten zu methodologischen Fragen: den Gütekriterien qualitativen Forschens, der Ethik des Forschens und Problemen der Datensicherung und Anonymisierung.
