230319 Der französische Roman des extrême contemporain (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

Die aktuelle Literaturproduktion Frankreichs steht im Zentrum dieser Veranstaltung. Anhand rezenter Romane sollen verschiedene Tendenzen des extrême contemporain gemeinsam erarbeitet werden. Ziel der dezidiert philologischen Perspektive ist dabei auch, das narratologische Instrumentarium der Teilnehmer zu schärfen. Zu den berücksichtigten Werken zählen Prix Goncourt-Gewinner, wobei in diesem Zusammenhang auf das Auswahlverfahren genauer eingegangen wird. Unter den diskutierten Romanen (Auszüge) befinden sich: La carte et le territoire (Michel Houellebecq, 2010); Pas pleurer (Lydie Salvayre, 2014), Chanson douce (Leïla Slimani, 2016), Leurs enfants après eux (Nicolas Mathieu, 2018).
