230206 Interfacing Speech Science and Speech Technology (S) (SoSe 2025)

Contents, comment

This class is dedicated to research in which speech technology informs speech science (and phonetics), or vice versa.
Concretely, we will read, present and discuss recent research papers, and investigate the underlying technology-related work. Topics will include (but are not limited to):

- Automatic analysis of conversational speech phenomena
- Analysis-by-synthesis
- Automatic pronunciation analysis
- System evaluation (TTS, HCI/HRI)

Requirements for participation, required level
