230429 Focus: A Reading Class (S) (SoSe 2023)

Contents, comment

Schedules are tight, plates are full - so much to do, so much to read, so little time.

In this four-hour class students are offered the chance to make time to read and engage with more challenging literary and theoretical texts from English Studies; literary classics and seminal theoretical texts. In project format, the goal is to read at least some in their entirety and to discuss insights from the reading encounters with peers. We will also share strategies for successful reading.
