Liebe Studierende im Master Physik,
es gibt im kommenden Semester zwei neue Lehrveranstaltungen, die für
euch als Vertiefungsvorlesung (B) in Frage kommen. Die erste wäre:
Computergestützte Optische Bildgebung von Prof. Hillmann
(https://ekvv.uni-bielefeld.de/kvv_publ/publ/vd?id=743070509). Hier gibt
es noch keinen eingetragenen Zeitslot, da wir diese Vorlesung so legen
wollten, dass möglichst viele von euch Zeit haben. Daher wäre es gut,
wenn alle, die Interesse an dieser Veranstaltung haben, sich im ekvv
dafür eintragen. Wir suchen dann über ekvv nach einem Termin, der
möglichst wenig Überschneidungen hat.
Auch neu ist die Veranstaltung Data Science Methods for Physics von Dr.
Prajwal Padmanabh
(https://ekvv.uni-bielefeld.de/kvv_publ/publ/vd?id=743435111). Diese ist
bisher nur als Bachelorveranstaltung im ekvv zu finden, kann aber
ebenfalls im Master als Vertiefung B angerechnet werden, wenn ihr
zusätzlich an einer Projektwoche im der vorlesungsfreien Zeit im
Anschluss an das Wintersemester teilnehmt. Der Termin und die Details
könnt ihr noch mit Prajwal abstimmen.

Dear Master’s students in Physics,
There will be two new courses offered next semester that may count as an
advanced lecture (B) for your program.
The first one is: Computergestützte Optische Bildgebung von Prof.
Hillmann
(https://ekvv.uni-bielefeld.de/kvv_publ/publ/vd?id=743070509).There is
currently no scheduled time slot for this course, as we would like to
arrange it at a time that suits as many of you as possible. Therefore,
it would be helpful if everyone who is interested in this course
registers for it in the ekvv. We will then use the ekvv registrations to
determine a time with the fewest possible scheduling conflicts.
The second new lecture is: Data Science Methods for Physics von Dr.
Prajwal Padmanabh
(https://ekvv.uni-bielefeld.de/kvv_publ/publ/vd?id=743435111). This
course is currently listed in the ekvv only as a Bachelor’s course, but
it can also be credited in the Master’s program as an advanced lecture
(B) if you additionally participate in a project week during the
lecture-free period following the winter semester. The date and further
details can be arranged directly with the lecturer.
