Weiterbildung und Management werden häufig als ein Gegensatz verstanden: während Weiterbildung für das „Pädagogische“ steht, wird Management dem „Ökonomischen“ zugeordnet. Häufig wird auch zwischen Betriebsmanagement (Organisationsentwicklung, Personalentwicklung, Controlling, Marketing, Finanzmanagement etc.) und Prozessmanagement (Bildungsbedarfsanalyse, Programmplanung; Veranstaltungsdurchführung, Qualitätssicherung; Vernetzungsmanagement etc.) unterschieden.
In diesem Seminar wird ein Einblick in die verschiedenen Handlungsbereiche des Managements in den allgemeinen und beruflich-betrieblichen Weiterbildungseinrichtungen gewonnen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt wird auf Fragen der Organisationsentwicklung und von Veränderungsprozessen (Change Management) gelegt.
Anhand von praktischen Beispielen werden Anregungen für das eigene professionelle Handeln und für empirische Analyse in der Weiterbildung gewonnen.
Hinweise zu Studienleistungen, Seminarplanung und Literatur werden in der ersten Sitzung gegeben.
