This seminar is obligatory part of the Main Module 4 “Object Disciplines” (OD) of the Master’s program “History, Economics, and Philosophy of Science/Interdisciplinary Studies of Science (HEPS/ISoS)”. In the seminar students acquire methodological skills in science studies and they are advised to reflect on the sciences they study as object disciplines. More specifically, students submit a short paper in which they connect their experience in the relevant object discipline with material from their HEPS/ISoS courses.
The seminar will be conducted as a joint course together with the seminar “Examenskolloquium Wissenschaftsforschung”, which is part of the “Final Module”. All students are required to participate in the entire course.
