Competencies

In this module, you can expand the organisational theory knowledge of organisations in the sports system acquired in the fixed curriculum of the "Business and Society" profile with skills in systemic organisational development. You will acquire knowledge of the practical implementation of systemic thinking and familiarise yourself with the attitude of systemic consultants and organisational developers, which is based on particular restraint and multi-perspectivity. Through role plays and group work, you will learn how to apply this theoretical knowledge in the practice of organisational development.

Content of teaching

As part of this module, you will be introduced to the theoretical foundations of a systemic understanding of organisational management. Building on this, you will learn about various forms of organisational development and change. In dealing with the methodology of intervention, you will also gain insights into various concepts for observing and advising sports organisations as an independent type of organisation. In the second course of the module, the intervention methods presented will be tested in practical simulations and subjected to reflection.

Recommended previous knowledge

The course "Systemic Counselling II" builds on the content of the course "Systemic Counselling I".
