Competencies

In this module, you will deepen your knowledge in the fields of sports psychology, exercise and training science and sports medicine in order to use the empirical findings of these disciplines to justify your own actions. You will be able to reflect on this knowledge and apply and transfer it to your future professional field.
You will demonstrate your ability to apply the knowledge you have acquired in the form of a seminar paper or an oral examination in one of the subject areas of the courses you have attended.

Content of teaching

The module is divided into two seminars:
Seminar AB I" focuses on various methods of fitness training as well as specific physiological and morphological adaptations induced by these methods, which underlie any increase in fitness performance. In addition, the special requirements of the child and adolescent organism are discussed and it is shown that health impairments relevant to sport are already widespread in these age groups.

The course "Seminar AB II" focuses on empirical and theoretical findings from movement science and sports psychology, findings on questions of motor development, teaching and learning of movements, action control in movement-cultural settings, psychological factors influencing sporting performance and their diagnosis and influence.
