Business Administration and Economics

Economics deals with the study of the economic behaviour of companies and societies. It combines the two classical disciplines of business administration and economics. Students acquire both specialised skills in the sense of comprehensive, subject-specific knowledge and methodological skills, i.e. the mastery of procedures, techniques and models for solving a wide range of economic problems. An important objective of the Bachelor's degree programme is the acquisition of general professional skills for a wide range of economic fields of activity. The flexibility required by the labour market is achieved through a broadly diversified basic education in business administration, economics and methodological skills. Building on this, students have the opportunity to specialise individually. The Master's degree programme in Economics deepens the skills and knowledge acquired in the Bachelor's degree and allows students to specialise in specific areas.
