The degree programme in Political Science integrates aspects of sociological political research on a political science basis. Students acquire skills in the assessment and critical reflection of the functioning of the political system as well as in the categorisation of political contexts in a broader social environment. The skills acquired during the programme can be used in a wide range of professional fields and qualify students for a variety of professional activities in public, economic and civil society organisations, for example in parliaments, associations, administration, political parties, educational and research institutions and institutions of media. Classic occupations also extend to non-governmental organisations, work in the legislature, international organisations, professional political consulting and the field of political education.
