Curriculum Vitae
Sabine Oertelt-Prigione is specialized in Internal Medicine and Public Health and trained in systemic organisational consultancy. Since 2017 she is the Strategic Chair for Gender in Primary and Transmural Care at Radboudumc in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and since 2021 Professor of Sex- and Gender-Senstive Medicine at Bielefeld University. She was a member of the EU Commission Expert Groups „Gendered Innovations 2“ and „Gender and COVID-19“, and is currently a member of the Medicine Committee of the German Council of Sciences and Humanities and of the Medicines Commission of the German Medical Board. Her research focus is the implementation of sex and gender aspects in research, teaching, medical practice and policy making.
