"Die Science Fiction von heute ist das Science Fact von morgen." (Stephen W. Hawking, Astrophysiker)
Viele Bücher und Filme haben die menschliche Vorstellung der möglichen Technik, aber auch die Visionen von Wissenschaftlern geprägt. Die gezeigten Visionen dienten als Ansporn für neue Forschungsprojekte und haben die Entwicklung beeinflusst. So wird man feststellen, dass in vielen vor allem älteren Science-Fiction Filmen aus heutiger Sicht gar nicht mehr so viel Fiktion steckt. Besonders die Bereiche Künstliche Intelligenz, Virtuelle Realität und Robotik sind immer wieder beliebte Vorlagen für Autoren und Regisseure.
Im Rahmen dieses Seminars werden wir uns eine Reihe von Filmen anschauen und diese auf ihren Einfluss in die Wissenschaft analysieren und diskutieren.Filmliste:
