Das Seminar gibt einen umfassenden Überblick über Survey-Methoden und -Forschung, d.h., den wissenschaftlichen Methoden standardisierter Befragungen der Bevölkerung. Die Studierenden erwerben vertiefte Kenntnisse in den Kernbereichen der Umfrageforschung. Neben der Konzeption und Fehlerquellen von Surveys steht die Konstruktion der Erhebungsinstrumente auf der Grundlage kognitiver Theorien und empirischer Ergebnisse zum Befragtenverhalten im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung.
