Das Seminar bietet eine Einführung in das "Handwerk" der linguistischen Analyse von Audio- und Videodaten. Der Schwerpunkt der ersten Seminarhälfte liegt auf der Transkription des Deutschen mit dem Internationalen Phonetischen Alphabet (IPA), in der zweiten Seminarhälfte geht es um die verbale Transkription mit GAT und die Mehrebenenannotation mit ELAN.
Der Kurs umfasst folgende Inhalte:
Teil 1: Phonetische Transkription
* Übungen zum analytischen Hören
* Artikulationsübungen
* Einführung in die Systematik des IPA
* Ebenen der Transkription (weit, eng, deskriptiv, präskriptiv)
* Deutsche Standardaussprache
* Transkription der Standardaussprache anhand geschriebener Texte
* Enge Transkription auf der Basis gehörter Texte (Standardaussprache)
* Enge Transkription auf der Basis gehörter Texte (Leichte Varietäten)Teil 2: Verbale Transkription und Annotation
* Übungen zum Transkribieren (GAT)
* (kurze) Vorstellung und Diskussion anderer Transkriptionssysteme
* Kennenlernen von Transkriptionssoftware.
* Einführung in die Mehrebenenannotation
* Ausführliche Arbeit und Übung mit ELAN
* Verschiedene Anwendungen/Auswertungen annotierter Daten (Grundlagen).Abhängig vom Kursverlauf kann dieses Programm noch auf deutsche Dialekte, weitere Sprachen und/oder pathologische Sprache erweitert werden.
